San Antonio Police Chief William McManus told the press that while the officer was writing a ticket, someone pulled up behind the squad car, stepped out of his vehicle and shot the officer twice, once in the head. The shooter then drove off.
Black lives matter does not suggest we should kill the police it suggests we should not be so foolish to forget that THEY are here as much as WE are here they are trying to be heard..it is not their fault that some people mistake the idea of peace...

BLM has created an environment which excuses killing cops whether the guy is a card carrying BLM member or not.
BLM has ensured hair triggered attitude that will take more innocent lives.

Do you have a source for your assertion that cops are more often ambushed with no provocation in "hick towns"? Remember, we are talking cold blooded assassination, or attempted assassination, of an officer for wearing the uniform only, not an officer being shot in the line of duty while making or on a professional call.
