Well a few things, first of all using Breitbart as the arbiter of fake news stories, seriously?
They spent 8 years on the birther issue. Secondly the discussion is NY Times fake news regarding Donald Trump, those stories in that link were from the Rolling Stone, Washington Post. I did notice one from the NY Times but it was decades ago on someone named Duranty & Holmodor, what does any of this have to do with Trump's claim.
So do you have anything to support Trump's claim. A fake story regarding Saturday Night Fever doesn't qualify.
That was the problem, supressing news and lack of curiosity on part of the media.
Enemies of the press would be a good thing if the press and media owners and editors hopped off the lap of the obama admin and did their job on trump and successive ppresidents and administrations.
Where is the pressure on chicago mayor emanuel claiming the killing fields under his admin is declared a sanctuary?
Where is the press when obama declares the safest cities and states are the ones with the toughest gun laws. By that rule, Maine should be a bloodbath while DC, Newark and Chicago safe as can be. where are investigative reporters calling their bluff. Instead the media spins the lies for their favorites' benefit.

Most of the murders in Chicago are between rival African Americans...that as nothing to do with sanctuary cities.
So, the first item you think should be a news story is actually just right wing spin. Shocking.
Second, you're comparing Maine, a mostly rural state, to 2 densely populated cities with pockets of poverty where most of the violence occurs.
If these are the kind of things you think are "news", you've started mistaking right wing radio BS spin as news.

The "6 million amish pledging to vote for Trump" was a good example, and it should have been easy for anyone to verify as there aren't anywhere near that many amish in US. The "hiring protesters for $3 500" was another fake story, which was circulated here too.

I don't know if Trump is scolding the media, but I would imagine he is making it clear that they can't continue to write unfounded, and outright false stories without consequences. We could very well see certain networks lose access to the White House.
Hopefully these meetings with Trump will get them back to being a legitimate, and credible source of information again.

Trump whining about false stories is laughable, the "thousands and thousands" he 'saw' celebrating in the streets of Jersey City on 9/11 all agree on that.
What a shame that despite all his family's $$$ a skin is apparently not within their means.
