The intent of our four fathers is interpreted different ways these days. It doesn't make any of us right or wrong. I think the 2nd amendment applied to them but it has got out of hand in this day and time. Just my opinion just like yours is just an opinion.

Well, if we get to interpret anything we want into the Constitution (which is what liberals do), then you're merely ignoring the Constitution, giving your own personal opinion, and then saying "...the Constitution agrees with me, I am sure."

Actually, no. That's why the "Republicans" (by which I more precisely mean "conservatives") do not "find" things in the Constitution. Only liberals do that.
