Many seem to be bragging that she is ahead in the popular vote, but does it make them feel better for ego reasons or does it make them feel worse that she is ahead in the popular vote, but she didn't win and can't be president?

I'm indifferent. She lost. I don't care about the popular vote.

I voted for her and she lost under the system we have. That's all that matters. Whether I feel better or worse is irrelevant. I have to deal with what's real. And the reality is that she lost.

She actually lost the popular vote because 3 million of those were illegal aliases and millions more from dead people.

I'm not sure how it could make anyone feel better to know that in a state or two, she was very popular, but across the rest of the country...not so much.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Not a fan of the electoral college, but it's the system we got. He won fair and square.

It makes me feel better, but not for my ego. It reminds me that there were more Americans than not who didn't fall for Trump's bluster.

The electoral college is the best thing going. I can't think of a better system.

Well, I disagree lol. There's already multiple threads on the topic here and in "Great Debates" I believe, so I'll just leave it at that.

If a dead man can be Senator they should be able to vote.

It doesn't matter. The electoral college did exactly what it was designed to do. It gives every person a voice through representation, and the left is pis$ed that the socialist state of kalifornia threw her up in the popular vote.

She got 7,4M votes from CA alone. CA represents about 10% of the population yet CA accounted for nearly 13% of her votes. Only 31% of the people here voted for Trump which is still amazing to me.

In reality most conservatives here in CA don't even bother to vote anymore. We haven't had a voice here for three decades. For those who wish for a popular vote rather than the EC, be very careful... you might get what you wish for and all the conservatives who don;t both to vote anymore will start voting again.
