Oh, I know -- SNOWFLAKES! (As in special snowflakes.)
Snowflakes are white so thats racist. Christmas decorations are red so thats communism. Green is a safe color as it represents trees & nature but it can also imply you are a pagan, nature worshipping witch so thats out. I guess just hang some transparent pieces of plastic that has no color.
An Oregon school district has asked staff to not use Santa Claus in their holiday decorations at school, saying it's a way to respect all religious beliefs.
...
ALL religious beliefs? I can tell you one religion it doesn't respect: Christianity.

Yes, you are right -- plus I forgot that seeing some fake snowflakes could lead someone to have a terrifying memory in which they were forced to walk home for two whole blocks in the snow! Oh, the horror!
But then your idea might not be a good one, either, because plastics are made of chemicals and that could possibly be harmful to health. Maybe the snowflakes could be rainbow-colored? I think the only other alternative would be gray; I haven't heard of that being offensive to anyone yet. (But there's still time.)
Oh, but I forgot -- snowflakes have six sides and the Star of David has six points, so might someone think that this is a secret conspiracy to promote Judaism?
P.S. All joking aside, I am an agnostic who firmly believes in freedom of religion, whatever that may be, except for the new religion of EXTREME political correctness.

Gray is probably offensive to some seniors(not me) as in "Gray Power".
For some reason Oregon does its best to keep up with California in weirdness .
My area is heavy on Christmas. We have decoration contests.
