Phillies' "Pistachio Girl" Fired For Being A White Nationalist

Interesting-is this considered a wrongful termination by some? Freedom of speech and all that jazz.

Seems the prospect of a Trump Presidency has brought some unsavory folks out of the woodwork.

She gets no sympathy from me. She has a right to support such types. However, people like her scare me. Anyone who supports those who are a threat to me, I look at those persons as a threat to me as well.

Even though she worked for and was terminated by the stadium food vendor. The Phillies would of called for it, if not already. When MLB is putting a lot of resources into generating more interest in baseball within our inner cities and blacks, they can not have self admitted white nationalists working at the ball park.

Hate to break this to you but these people existed before Trump, she is free to express her views and the company is free to fire her.. even though this has nothing to do with Trump, I don't ban you for that part of the fake news... Merry Christmas...

I also think it is interesting but based on her saying where she worked and who she was, I can't see how it would be considered wrongful termination if the company has a policy regarding the behavior/activities of their employees and the image of the organization.

Too bad for her but honestly, she could have spouted her white nationalist leanings without speaking about where she was employed. Guess she wanted to use her celebrity to get a bigger following and it came back to bite her in the you know what.

Ha! Certainly could be no more unsavory folks than Hillary would have "brought out."

If you don't like it, boycott pistachios, while you aren't going to see Hamilton.
