I have spent some time in China as well. Its not right to paint a whole country with one broad stroke. Imagine what some countries say about USA? American are all gun loving red necks. Our justice system is all mired in bickering bureaucracy? I heard people in other countries claim we are all war mongering idiots.
Don't even try to make that comparison.
And I highly doubt you spent any significant amount of time in China. And if you did, you surely stayed in your foreigner tourist bubble.
This is why you don't piece off and sell your nation away. And you should never sell out you own people in favor of the lowest bidder. China has been undercutting and bringing down our standard of living for far too long now. When all is said and done, we are left holding an empty bag, and a surplus of cheap, easily breakable "goods".
Wall Street and the banks are the culprits. China is just the mechanism. And if it's not China it will be some other pool of Slave labor
Have you been there? In large cities you can find parents allowing children to deficate in the streets.
They sell rice that's 40% plastic to save money.
People routinely kill or abandon baby girls just because they're girls.
Price gouging is the norm.
Then there's the less offensive like people spitting in the streets. Tossing their trash anywhere, and yelling at the top of their lungs.
But you'd have to be there.
So you only focus on the negative aspects, huh?
I lived in Beijing for four years and I have never seen any child poop on street, not even once.
Beijing has much less trash on streets than NYC, even Manhattan.
You see people kill baby girls? LOL what a liar. Abortion may happen in some villages (which you have never been to), but you observed killing girls? Can you be honest?
And all the rice I ate there is real.

we have sold our birthright for a dollar! I have been saying it for years - in the interest of some getting super wealthy they sold our ports- companies- property- homes and everything under the sun to include our own electronics missile parts- we don't own them. So far the airports are safe- we own them but-- keep your eyes on it.

They put carcinogens and other cancer-causing ingredients in food that other countries don't allow and use weird chemical preservatives that keep food looking the same way for weeks. To mass produce and save money.
In large cities like NY where I'm from you can see homeless people (which a significant number of the population are children) deficating and urinating everywhere from the train stations to the side of a nice luxury condominium. Ever heard of skid row in LA? A whole neighborhood dedicated to shanty towns for the homeless.
Your original point would go for a lot of the world if that's your criteria.
I'd say the odds favor that President-elect Trump understands given he has made billions, and you and I are posting anonymously on social media.
