BTW, do you feel Obama is a horrible hypocrite for claiming to support the AGW while using an armada of aircraft to travel to Hawaii each year for vacation?
Or having hotdogs and pizza flown in from Chicago.
These people are either idiots or deviants and frankly, real Americans should shun them to hell and back.

Do you really believe they sent a plane to Chicago to transport hotdogs back to the president, or they simply put hotdogs on a plane that was already traveling? I come here to see the viewpoints of people on the other end of the political spectrum, but I don't see the point if you guys are just going to be disingenuous or make fallacious claims, just to "score points".

We know he uses an armada of aircraft to fly him nearly halfway around the globe to sit on that special beach he likes.
My biggest question for hard core climate change activists.
Why does this movement have heroes whose carbon footprint is measured in KILOTONS?
Dicaprio, Gore et all with GIANT footprints.
Bill Nye and Ed Begley are odd but seem to actually try to live the hype.
The big question is, why do you care about these celebrities? Most people were concerned with climate change don't. This is simply a deflection tactic.
I find the hypocrisy really telling among hardcore climate change supporters. Most seem to choose to live in massive concrete jungles, yet they whine to the rest of the country about how we are killing our planet.
Isn't choosing to live in one of these massive concrete jungles the same as shopping at Wal-Mart daily, while protesting against big box stores for killing small business?

Do you really believe the words that come out of your mouth or do you simply expect us to believe them?

I think Obama spent about $65,000 of the tax-payers money flying in
pizza/dogs from Chicago for a private party at the White House not long
ago, assume we are using the same channels?

I don't think most of you understand the stark contrast between your lifestyles and those of much of the rest of the world. You're probably fairly naive as to how your carbon footprint compares to two or three billion people who most likely have about a twentieth or less of yours.
You might, just might, have a relatively small Western footprint, but the majority of AGW promoters are in complete and total denial.
No, I'm well aware. And so are most of the people I know. It's a frequent topic of discussion, and it is one of the motivators behind the many NGOs who are addressing poverty around the world.
The fallacy of your kind of argument was readily apparent to me when I was 8 years old and being urged to eat something I didn't want, because think of all those starving kids in Korea. Great, I said, I don't want it, so wrap it up and send it to them.
You can't solve a global problem resulting from destructive systems solely by individual action. It's a communal problem, and it can only be solved by changes to the systems that underlie our civilization. Obviously, addressing the needs of those starving kids has to be part of the equation, or it's no solution at all.

No. But then I understand the Secret Service has more influence than Obama does when it comes to Obama's "armada of aircraft".
And again, a grammatical quibble - Obama DOES NOT support "the AGW". He thinks AGW is a problem, and has done what he can, in the face of congressional intransigence, to address it.
