All his anti-Mexican rhetoric has led to this...lol

Quote:
The bill also states, "in cases where the assets of our fellow citizens or companies are affected by a foreign government, as Donald Trump has threatened, the Mexican government should proportionally expropriate assets and properties of foreigners from that country on our territory."

Translated that means that should Trump follow through on threats to expand the wall, withdraw U.S. participation in NAFTA or stop remittances, Mexico could target U.S. assets in Mexico. Assets estimated by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative at over $100 billion...

I had hoped that China would seize U.S. assets there for a long time. I suppose this would be close.

Honestly, whichever company built those assets in Mexico deserve this. They should think about all the hundreds of billions they saved on cheap labor over the decades while they sent America jobs overseas. Eat the losses and move on. Stuff like this is why globalism is a bad idea.

This is starting to be fun. It was fun today when the Republicans voted for and then voted against the ethics watchdog. All due to a tweet. Round and round we go! My guess is that Ryan told Trump to tweet. (this is sounding so silly)

Honestly we should just annex Mexico, with force or not... divide it up onto states, execute all the drug dealers and corrupt police.. no more mister nice guy with corrupt criminal types... we need more warm climate to settle in... all we got is Florida... would be a great economic expansion project, national debt be damned... modernizing Mexico and having all that warm climate to move too... I'd quit my job and either join the Military or join a construction trade to help with it all.. or I wanted to back when I was really in my prime 10 years ago. This has been a longstanding view of mine...

Way to go Mexico, American and global investment money will come pouring in after this move.

Never mind chess, someone should teach them how to play checkers. The responses from Mexico since trump jumped into this have been very entertaining, and sometimes just plain sad.
