A 14 year old would have been the subject of Podesta's emails. Unless he was too old.

The cops don't let the burglars go based on how well you locked up your house. Or even if you locked all your doors and windows but the burglar picked your lock or broke your window to enter....the cops don't let the burglar go and blame the victim.

Nobody has denied there was crime.

But, if somebody breaks into your house and finds two dead bodies and calls the police, do the police focus on the burglar and give you a free pass?

DNC server was hacked. Podesta's individual email was accessed due to phishing.

Even having security software and protection methods on servers doesn't mean they aren't hack proof. The hackers are creating new ways of entry as fast as the security experts are coming up with protective software.

Do you blame people that have been burglarized for getting their house broken into, even when they locked their doors and windows and even when it's against the law to burglarize?

Do you blame the victim of a peeping tom for having a window or for having blinds that had little openings between the slats?

Do you blame banks for getting robbed because they let the robber into the bank?

If someone's car is stolen while they are at work, do you blame them for not having a security alarm, even though they locked the car?

If a lady gets her purse stolen while she's walking to her car in the supermarket parking lot, do you blame her for carrying a purse?

Do you blame the person that had a hate crime or terrorist attack committed against them for being a specific race or a specific religion that was targeted? Or blame them for being in public where they were attacked?

What good are laws if you blame the victim and allow the law to be broken by the purpetrator?
If you followed the events (with the technical support people and how they handled the hacking) you know it's an unforgivable failure on part of those who managed DNC operations. You probably do a better job with your personal computer. No rethoric can change that.
However, up to this moment, I still don't see what "top secret" material was discovered (except that these politicians are not the nicest people).

You're mixing stories. Podesta's email was hacked through "phishing" and an easy password while Hillary's many scandals show Hillary sent and received highly classified emails on computers and servers that were not approved for sending or receiving classified emails.

More of Hillary's classified emails were recently found on Hillary's aide's husband's laptop which draws more questions why classified website are on a laptop that also has child porn. More questions for Hillary to answer during her federal investigations ( plural).

Even a 14 year old kid could have hacked into Podesta's emails
Assange has joined the ever increasing group of people who play Trump publicly.

Those were horrible analogies. Stop victimizing Hillary and the DNC. They were exposed as crooks and liars by a peeping Tom.

I'm not mixing anything and am only referring to the DNC / Podesta hacking and so called "phishing".
Later the FBI called them everyday and the technical guy would not respond. That was a big fiasco even if you were running a laundromat.
But I'm asking again- what secrets were revealed?

Idiocy up and down the chain. Even Pizza Hut doesn't allow that.
In his defense, Podesta did ask his IT guy if it was real and was told he should change his password and security setting. The IT guy did tell him to go to a specific link to do it, but Podesta clicked on the link in the email instead.
