You're right, Trump speculated it was the intelligence community at his presser yesterday.
Not a huge fan of the NYTimes, but this article gives a pretty concise wrap-up of what is known and unknown at this point. The biggest take-away I get from it is that nothing in the dossier was able to be verified enough to actually use, despite months of research into it.
It's just that where I come from, after someone is caught telling a giant ****ing lie, we don't then give them the benefit of the doubt so that they can tell more giant ****ing lies.
