Good for Cory Booker. Sessions has a questionable history as far race and we need an AG that treats all people equal.

His Senate race was funded in part by bundlers that go by the name of Jared Kushner and Ianvka Trump.

Trump to host fundraiser for Booker - POLITICO

Not likely one will hear Cory say anythig nasty about the Trump family.

Jared and his family are long time Democrat donors.

It was mentioned in the OP article that Booker acknowledged that he worked with Sessions to honor the marchers in Selma regarding Civil Rights....

If you're talking about Trump, we have only his word that he is worth billions. And we all know what Trump's word is worth.

The guy has taken more bribe money from Wall Street than almost any senator on both sides of the isle. Booker is not for the 99%. He serves the donor class. "young and handsome" is not what is needed when the middle class and low income people are suffering. We need someone who has the guts to take on the billionaire class and special interests and fight for salt of the earth Americans.

Is this the first time you have paid attention to confirmation hearings?

Members on both sides of the aisle use the opportunity to get face time and occasionally pose a good question.

There is no question Sessions will be approved.

Um yea that is nonsensical. These unwritten rules of courtesy between politicians are not important to anyone except politicians themselves. Just look at Donald Trump.
And yea no one else will care.

Did you hear/watch his "testimony"? Corey Booker is not just a 'black man', he is super-partisan Senator and he declared War on Jeff Sessions for nothing even close to 'provable'. He may be able to get re-elected to his position in New Jersey - but he has zero chance of higher office in the Federal Government.

Whiners and Race Baiters are not suitable for higher office. He made a big mistake today.

Being blessed and honored to partner with Sessions.... blessed and honored to partner with someone is not praise? What world are you living in?
