I wanted to open up a discussion on the topic of the cyclical nature of politics.
We've bounced back in forth in leadership between 2 parties for the better half of last century and all of this one and I'm wondering what sort of chaos it is causing with a quantitative lens on it.
Is the cyclical nature of party-swapping every 8 years going to be good or bad for the United States as a whole?
Do you think this trend will become the norm?
Does it create any opportunity for 3rd parties to really make a push when the clashing is at an all-time high? (they did somewhat well this election cycle)
