Instead of crying wolf, it's reacting to news announcements about the potential cuts of entire departments that are related to energy efficiency and climate change.

I honestly don't have any experience working with whatever it is you're talking about so IDK.

But, why do we need to build an unsustainable bubble around other people? I've had to fight my way through the private sector, and I don't begrudge government workers in the aggregate, but sometimes you lose your job and you find another one. Nobody is out there requiring private sector employers to retain employees solely because they're the little guy.

Did we always think the Endowment for Humanities would always keep people employed?

Moreover, many State governments are hiring right now, if it's the benefits/stability you're looking for. My State has new positions posted almost every week now.

Aren't you happy that Trump will be president in 1 day 55 minutes?

Trump is going to gut the liberal stranglehold in government. The screams and hair on fire behavior coming from the violent and hateful left signals an end the zombie hoard rule. Trump will use the pen and phone like a baseball bat and heads will explode. Time to get out the plastic to keep your clothes from getting stained like those in the front row of a Gallagher show. Cut $1 Trillion per year from the existing budget of $3.9 T??

The article indicates the following:

Quote:
The departments of Commerce and Energy would see major reductions in funding, with programs under their jurisdiction either being eliminated or transferred to other agencies. The departments of Transportation, Justice and State would see significant cuts and program eliminations.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting would be privatized, while the National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities would be eliminated entirely.

Those are very small gains and amount to almost nothing but they did indicate cutting these 4 programs accounted for $900M, Minority Business Development Agency, Economic Development Administration, the International Trade Administration, Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

That will be a good trick cutting those business programs, they seem more conservative than liberal by the way, they are called corporate welfare.

It's about time someone did this. Now watch the libs start crying about it like they are already doing in this thread, or they'll say it doesn't make any difference.

Major cuts to Justice and State departments...

That's law enforcement and national security, the two areas which the Constitution mandates to government to maintain.

Those departments are very important and do not have large budgets, so it does not seem like they are picking the right places to cut.

Like I said before, I don't think Congress will be on board with this.

1200 or more require senate confirmation. I think it will be a while since the democrats keep threatening to delay confirmations and take out their anger. Meanwhile America will just twiddle their thumbs waiting for the anger to subside so we can move on.
