Know what's really sad about this thread? How great the USA already is... and how so many people think that it needs to be "made great again" by a reality show con man.
That's most unfortunate.

Lots of sour grapes in this topic. I see Hillary's supporters still think she's gonna win somehow.
...and yet you and some oddball others are the only ones EVER bringing Hillary's name up lately. I suppose the reasons are twofold...to deflect from the monstrosity that is Trump and because you guys miss having a scapegoat because the right wing will have to own up to everything it screws up from here on in.

Wait, the last guy didn't think it was great - he said it needed to the fundamentally transformed.

Do you want some cheese to go with that sour grape whine?

You know as well as anyone on this site the right will still blame dems, libs for any problems they take no responsibility for there messes, remember when bush Jr. Trashes the country they blamed Obama, the dems, libs everyone but those who were really in charge.
Wait, the last guy didn't think it was great - he said it needed to the fundamentally transformed.
How quickly they forget what the POS place holder president they championed wanted to do. In the first week Trump as president will wipe out 4 years of Obama's disastrous, harmful, ignorant, nonsense. Some of it can never be undone. The stain of Obama will always be there as a reminder of what happens when a globalist, socialist/communist, radical Islamic terrorist supporter is elected.
The celebrations taking place right now are a testament to the courage of the American people who stepped up voting for Trump. Despite his short comings and human failings, that we all have, he wants to put the people in charge of their government and put America first in all things. Anyone who can't unite behind that idea doesn't belong in this great country but they will not stop those of us who do.

He never said it wasn't a great country... just that we needed to work on it. And, we always will. We should always be in a constant state of striving to better ourselves.
Doesn't mean things aren't already great, but stagnation is bad.
