What Trump said at the Inauguration, was not much more than a re-hash of his speech at the beginning of the campaign. When he repeated the lies about his intentions, I imagine his supporters were jumping around with glee. His mention of the "forgotten people", who will now have a voice, was the biggest single piece of deception ever heard in a city known for volumes of hot air. Those people will now find themselves completely abandoned, while the super-rich will gain more wealth and control.
The only hope we can have, is that he will be unable to carry out any of those false promises. Imposing tariffs on imports will not return any jobs to this country, but will cost consumers a lot of money and expand conflicts with other countries. The deportation of undocumented workers would reduce our manufacturers' ability to produce goods. Most of them are here, because American companies wanted them to come.
He will try to upset everything, as he stated, only it would result in even worse times for us. Now, we will soon learn what will happen with him and congress. I suspect and hope that they will not roll-over for him and will assert an independent power to run the country, with a minimum of disruption. Perhaps it will cause a loss of power for the Office of President, which has been increasing for the past 84 years.
So if it is sunny it is a sign of god's blessing and if it is raining it is a sign of god's blessing... I think I get it now. Signs indeed.
And if it's snowing it's a sign of gods blessing, and if 105 degrees it's a sign of gods blessing, and if there is ice on the ground it's a sign of gods blessing...
