AP source: Trump ban affects all non-U.S. citizens, including green card holders | PBS NewsHour

According to federal officials it does apply to green card holders, at least that's how DHS is interpreting it. They said there is an "exemption" available but they haven't even developed a process yet to consider those requests.

Just goes to show no one is safe from the buffoon. He always exceeds expectations with how stupid his moves are.

It is very deep rooted issue. Forget about politicians, it is difficult even for some one like Trump to take different path. Obama took different path with Iran and Israel. But he still fallowed same course with Saudi Arabia.
I'm just saying, if the goal is keeping out radical Islamic extremism, I'm not sure that goal can truly be met if you are exempting the #1 offender.

Why don't you head over to Yemen and report back on how nice and friendly they are over there

This is wrong. We should not treat legal immigrants who have followed all of the rules this way. No good will come of it.

People from countries on the list who have earned citizenship in countries that are allowed to come here without prior approval are now also banned. So, for example, an Iraqi who earned U.K. Citizenship is also no longer allowed to enter the US. Effectively this one ridiculous order means that we're trying to redefine citizenship for our allies, as well. This is insane and wrong.

There was one refugee that assisted us in Iraq that might be killed if he is returned, I'm sure there are other cases. What exactly was the rush that this needed to be done immediately, tremendously idiotic punishing people for showmanship.

We should not be using the actions of the most dysfunctional counties in the world as our example for how to treat people.

You can bet the Department of Homeland Security is on the phone to the WH, saying hey Trump what is going on? You put out an 'order' on Friday afternoon (which is probably illegal) and now it's Saturday and nobody knows what the hell is going on or what they are supposed to do.

President Magoo, leaving chaos and destruction in his wake.

The protests are growing.

Where does it say it doesn't?

Appears to me that they just plumb forgot this might affect traveling legal US residents who are from the proscribed nations.

Every new policy has bugs that need to be worked out.

Look at Obamacare and tell me it isn't so.

Actually things are going pretty smooth with a few road bumps. President Trump doing what he was elected to do.
