Hey OP, I looked up your stats and see you are a highly educated mental health therapist. I grew up in a Christian high control group that was against higher education so that's part of the reason I only have a high school diploma. I got a job making decent money early on too so...anyway, I highly value education and am fascinated that someone such as yourself would engage in this type of rhetoric. Do you have any insight on a person trying to create an "enemy" such as a "liberal" as a way to deal with anxiety? Is this post a way to expel some of the insecurity you feel about the "world"? Being an uneducated ******* I would say that the world doesn't owe us anything, much less an explanation or even making sense. I think we all need to take some personal responsibility for the way we treat each other.

Edit:I'm not sure why that word was ***out. It's a mildly offensive term for liberal

The state does not know best, and I don't want to be enslaved by the state.

If the state rules over they people, it costs them their freedom and lead to the death of the individual.

Perhaps they will change their tune when they figure out they ARE the state and have been all along. It was Trump who chanted "law and order" not Bernie(xoxo) or Hillary.

The biggest education about politics and ideology that I received came from BEING a leftist activist for years.....being surrounded by and working with the same.

Well it obviously wasn't a degree in political science or any exposure to political theory.

And this CORE belief drives everything else. It is "the Debate" of our time.
Newsflash: In a representative democracy, "the state"=the people. So yeah, the people know best.

*republic.

In a democracy, the majority is the state. The difference is mostly meaningless, unless you're in the minority.

I am a liberal and you don't speak for me.

In fact, in my view you have no idea what you're talking about. You're just parroting the usual Michael Savage/Rush Limbaugh talking points.

Look at his profile...Masters in mental health and he is using circular reasoning, splitting and probably a host of other words. He is someone's go to guy when they are having problems and he's got them checking under the bed for monsters. Inconceivable!
