I used to work in Berkeley and live in Oakland. I'm so glad to be gone. I lived through several days of riots. It's no place to live. Literally about every few window in the buildings around my apartment was broken multiple times. And I was paying $1500 for a 1 bedroom apartment. Druggies were on most corners begging. At least one car parked on the street had windows smashed once a week on every block.
During riots, freeways were blocked, cops outfitted in riot gear ran around in formation like it was war time, and helicopters were flying low all night making it impossible to sleep.
This is what far left liberal create. I say, no thank you.
