Its all about image and identity when it comes to fashion. I recall that no one cared about MK brand until it was caught on TV with a few celebrities and then boom.... everyone wanted MK stuff.

I just don't think Ivanka's "brand" was developed enough to compete at that level. The only time I've seen her stuff in the media was when she was wearing it. I think Ivanka and Nordstrom were both banking on Trump's name associated with the presidency and they over invested in that concept.

I bet Ivanka's line would do well at Penny's at the proper price. Personally... I buy from Kohl's. I see no reason to spend a lot of money on clothes that mostly see the inside of my house, car, and office (relaxed dress code).

I thought of that too.... Reminds me of those emergency warming blankets. I'm sure it looks better in person.

If it wasn't profitable then they should drop the line. Ivanka would be the first person to agree with this.

Nordstrom has lost 50% of their market value in the last two years and more than 30% in just the last two months. As Trump would put it "not good, not good"

It's really a great store. I'm not kidding.

In most stores, you have to sort through racks upon racks to find a half dozen items that might work.

It's just the opposite at Nordstrom. And the service is outrageous.

I admit, I haven't shopped there since last fall when I read that they were going to continue carrying Ivanka's lines. I totally understood their position and agreed with it.

Nonetheless, it still felt like I would be crossing a picket line.

Simple business.
Hassle > $profit

She should go direct and hire a 3PL. Problem solved.

30% in the last two months?

Brick and mortar stores have been steadily losing out to online shopping, but 30% in the last two months?

What's that about?

Sales aren't good for her stuff. Donald is such a good business man he'll change that.

Don't trash Yvanka, she has the biggest job of all - looking after Daddy.

Generally speaking, liberals tend to fall into the top and bottom of the economic classes.

Many of the rich want a large complicated government that allows them special treatment while thinking they know what is best for others.

Many of the poor want a Santa Claus government.
