And if we use this "targets one religion, race, group, etc" nonsense "logic" which is 100% non-sequitur, why weren't these same groups filing lawsuits/stop orders in a frenzy at the feds/obama when he passed the "dreamer act" given the vast majority who benefit are hispanic? And given it's mostly young people that benefited, where's the age discrimination card being played by these same groups? Shouldn't all people regardless of age here illegally be treated the same/given a free pass to protect their illegal status selves? Where's the outrage/lawsuits by these same "Caring" groups in states like washington and beyond?

The rather large difference is he didn't suddenly impose a complete ban on Visas and refugees. If Trump had taken the time to put a well thought out policy in place may not even be discussing this, instead he imposed an immediate ban for 90 days on 120 days on refugees and those from Syria indefinitely. There were people the day before that were allowed to travel to the US that were returned, same for refugees that had waited years. There were even translators working for the state department, people working for various countries that were suddenly stopped.
There is already vetting in place particularly for refugees that have to wait years through a screening process requiring 20 steps, so why were they even included. I have not heard one recommendation to change the process currently in place. You would hope that since he saw fit to take this drastic action that he would have something significant to offer.
This coupled with the fact that Flynn and Bannon have be anti-Muslim and Giuliani is on record stating that Trump asked him to put together a team to find a way to legally ban Muslims.

Not sure the tide is turning, but at least in this one instance, sanity seems to have taken hold.
This was a poorly thought out, poorly written EO that obviously was not even run by a legal team, let alone the departments that were involved.
Trump ordered a travel ban on Iraq without bothering to consult the Sec. of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, or even the Director of National Intelligence. Since they are actually running a war in Iraq, one would think that at least giving them a heads up, if not actually consulting with them, would have been a smart move.
That is patently ridiculous. If that was their goal, why isn't Europe Muslim? Muslims gained a foothold in southern Spain for a while, and there may still be areas there that continue to be Muslim. There were a few wars between western Europe and Muslims a long time ago; there have been no violent clashes over and over for the past thousand years.
So, for thirteen hundred years Muslims have been trying to invade and conquer Europe, is that what you're saying?

No, the current unrest is brought to you by a bunch of radicals who aren't even popular with their fellow Muslims.
It is somewhat accurate to note that the goal of Fundy Islam is world domination.
And, even up to the 20th century, they have been doing so. When the Belgians were in the Congo they were fighting against Islamic forces who were "hunting" for slaves and converts.
But this has little or nothing to do with the subject at hand. We have Fundy Christians and Jews and Scientologists and others who believe in crazy stuff what - if taken at face value - would be a danger. For example, MANY Christians feel the world could end today or tomorrow.
If this is the truth than it doesn't matter to pollute, cause cancer, fight wars and do many other things.
But make no mistake about it. The history of Islam - like the history of many other movements and religions - is one of conquering others and converting them.
On with the conversation...the world domination part of Islam doesn't really mean much unless you want to start excluding lots of other immigrants and/or jailing lots of Americans for their crazy/nutty beliefs. But people should understand that is/was the basic of Islam. It is/was a religion born in a harsh environment where it was often kill or be killed. As with other war mongers (privateers, etc.) Islamic soldiers were always promised the rewards of booty, slaves and women (rape). This continues to this day where you can find relatively mainstream Muslim scholars who will state that multiple wives, raping of conquered parties, etc. are all Islam-approve.
Fundy Religions or even doctrines (like Trumps) are a danger in a world which requires logic, reason and compassion.
