More to love as they say..My wife is an ultra distance runner..So I don't have to experience a sick gelatin mass of flesh..Thank god

Spicer smiled..He had little choice...

Wonder if the roles were reversed if people would laugh at her grossness?
I think macarthy is slovenly...

Which is why I could care less about her..Any message she has is lost in the jelly roll that accompanies her
Can't say I blame your wife for wanting to run as far away as she possibly can.

SNL has been 99% miss over the last 20+ years.

This was pretty good. A hit.

I'm not sure I'll Youtube Baldwin's bits though. It's too hard to see past the fact that he's so vile and unhinged that Trump looks downright reserved next to him.

They really need to get someone who isn't a psychopath in real life to play Trump.

SNL does a lot of heavily biased skits without regard for humor. That said, this one was pretty dang funny!

I decided to watch the Weekend Update bit and it featured a white guy and a black guy.

The white guy made jokes about current events. They had the black guy just make cheap, easy racial jokes thru current events.

It's that kind of low hanging fruit comedy that has doomed SNL since the mid 90s.

I love Sean Spicer's attack on the lying media but also couldn't help LMAO at Melissa McCarthy's skit on SNL. Let's face it, President Trump and his team have totally made SNL relevant again as SNL are unable and unwilling to do the same when Dems are in power.

It's not that they're unwilling, more like Republicans provide so much better source material than the Democrats. Trump's White House is pretty much writing their material for them right now, the way Sarah Palin in her heyday did for Tina Fey--another relevant period for SNL.

I disagree, there was substantial material available for Obama and his team that was passed over because SNL and Obama team are the same team so they passed on airing their internal dirty laundry.

There were plenty of skits about Obama.

SNL is, first and foremost, a comedy show. It's not about "airing internal dirty laundry," it's about what will get laughs. If they don't get laughs the show is over. Trump and his administration have been a boon for them. Every week some new inanity. It's almost too easy.
