Yup... its better if he writes a new EO rather than push the old one through the system. He screwed up this one.. I hope he learns from it rather than make the same mistake over and over...

Trump is still headed that way. We will wait and see who finishes on top. But nice try anyway.

Uh, no, no, and NO ! Trump wanted it to go his way, and it was blocked. You think somehow that made him happy ? He has had to backpedal and revise his EO to meet THEIR requirements. So, who won that little game ? He even backed down from his Supreme Court threat........some guts he has !

Mr. Tweetie Pie lost his first big test, and this will set the precedent for all future EO's. He better get used to losing, because this is the first of many to hit him right between his beady little eyes.

Actually they've been against the pipeline. Standing rock protests have been pretty non stop.

Canada is looking forward to being able to export its oil though.

what part of his EO he has to revise? like the idiots in the 9th circuit court you haven't read the statue or the EO:

Immigration and Nationally Act: "Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of ALL ALIENS"

what part of ALL ALIENS you don't get?.......that shows that the courts are political and hacks.....the 9th Circuit Court didn't even mention the statue...that's like putting a stay on free speech and totally ignoring the 1st amendment in their conclusion.

Some of us work all day and check the site and go "really?" Ever since Trump was elected it's been a circus by the losing team.

We're not talking about that pipeline. We're talking about the cheap foreign H-1B labor that corporations are importing. Read the post to which I responded:

So he is more than happy to rewrite the EO and have the chance to blame it on the courts for his stupid followers.
So, again, the question is... Exactly WHY are liberals fighting to keep the cheap H-1B foreign labor pipeline intact?

If Trump was right that there was some emergency, he wouldn't withdraw the order and re-write it, which could take some time; instead, he'd immediately go to the Supreme Court. That's what "THIS IS URGENT" means. His actions mean this is not an emergency, which is GOOD NEWS for everyone in the nation--or, at least, everyone in the nation who doesn't want to be a victim of terrorist attack.

Now that the "ITS AN URGENT MATTER OF NATIONAL SECURITY REQUIRING IMMEDIATE ACTION" claim has been set aside, we have an opportunity to have a sober discussion that respects the different concerns people have. It is reasonable to be concerned that those who wish the nation ill will hide amongst refugees and try to get in. It is reasonable to want this country to help people who are victims of war get out of the way of the violence. So, BOTH SIDES in this discussion have right on their side. So, the question now is: will our elected leaders work toward both interests and in doing so protect American lives AND American values of generosity? Stay tuned.
It is a Contest. Its a Contest between Trump Haters and Patriots. Trump will prevail, likely by another order. The "Emergency" route with the Supreme Court would still take too long, since this was a 90 day order, and could even end up as a tie, since there is no tie breaker Justice now. Also, with a New Order, the old one is moot, and so is the decision made by the Court. They would have to do it all over again, and this time, with no grounds to object to. If its bullet proof, Trump can just keep the Restrictions in play, regardless of what this Court does, and tell them to take it to the Supreme Court, which puts them in the "Waiting" position. This Federal Court can rule against Trump, and issue anything they want, but they can't force Trumps Administration to honor it. They only have to do that if the Supreme Court rules against the Administration.

There is no need for a Discussion on Immigrants and Immigration Policy that the President makes in an Executive Order. Thats his Constitutional Right, as the Executive Branch, and does not fall under any Jurisdiction of the Judicial Branch. Its not Rocket Science. And "NO" its not reasonable to expect the Taxpayer to keep everyone away from Violence that their own people are responsible for. If thats what you want to do, then fine, use your own money and board them in your house. I am not paying for it.

I would guess a New Order will be coming Monday or Tuesday...

Trump's EO is based on the law.......what mistake he made?

lets try again and stop listening to the liberal media and hacks, this is the statue:

Immigration and Nationally Act: "Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of ALL ALIENS"

All Aliens includes VISAS......so Trump didn't make any mistakes.....the liberal judges are ignoring the statue.

even if he writes a NEW EO, these liberal judges will put a STAY and ignore the statue again.............the judges screwed this one not Trump.........the 9th Circuit Court didn't even mention the law in their findings which I find retarded, that's like ruling on Free Speech and ignoring the 1st Amendment in our Constitution.

the 9th Circuit Court did in the past, they ruled Americans don't have a right to own a gun and totally ignoring the 2nd amendment.......that's why 90% of their rulings have been overturned and rejected by the Supreme Court.

stop listening to the liberal media and just read the statue that has been the law since 1952 and nobody had a problem until now that Trump has used it.........this is political not what the law really means.

Doesn't matter if he is happy or not, its won't stop him from getting the Job done. He is a deal maker, and this is just another deal for him. Make adjustments and get the deal done. Thats why we elected him, and thats why others are clueless.

Of course he isn't going to only take the Suporem Court option. Did you forget this is only a 90 day order? He would run out of time first. He is taking the smart road. New order, and let anyone who objects have to go to Court instead. Thats why we elected him.

Mr Tweetie Pie just went over a Speed Bump, but doesn't mean a thing. You folks better get used to losing and whining a lot more, since there will be many, many, more thrown in your face that Ajax won't take off.

As a Voter who voted for him, I am very pleased with his Progress, and the fact that the Democrats could not even stop a single Cabinet pick. Satisfied with his firing the Acting AG and showing the old Gaurd that its not business as usaul, and you either get on the Train or your in the dirt. Love it. Fine Job so far...
