Way too soon for that. One might suggest that if Trump continues as he has started 2018 may turn out better for the Democrats than would have seemed likely. In my own NV Heller would have a pretty good chance to hold his Senate seat normally but any kind of an anti-Trump wave and he is gone.

Given the Senate demographics it would appear unlikely that the Democrats could gain Senate control but with some help from Trump it could well happen or at least tighten the tight Senate even tighter.

And the House could swing strongly to the Democrats as the recent elections have shown. Again it might not end in control but it could come close and make the Republican majority much narrower.

And then Trump has two more years with less control in both the House and the Senate. That is sure to cause the Republicans pain in 2020..

I don't. Most of the liberals I know are focusing on 2018. 2020 is a long ways away, and a lot can happen. Trump may decide to not run, the guy would be 74. 2018 on the other hand is coming up.

I know the conservatives want to ascribe a lot of irrational behavior to liberals, please continue. Its one of the things that the liberals did to you that helped you folks this last election. Its ironic seeing you do it back.

Post is standard right wing myth. The RW again telling the LW what it believes.

Present situation, if maintained, might well give the Democrats a vastly better outcome in 2018 than conditions would indicate. But 2020 is way too far out for a rational view.

Who knows? Maybe Trump can walk on water...

I just dont see Trump running in 2020. I think he claims some victories, and goes back to his old life. He accomplished becoming POTUS, and I think that is really all he wanted. he didnt really want to govern and do all that goes with the job.

Actually Trump may well have been the best thing to happen to the Democrats in this country. If he continues as launched all sorts of good things could happen...

Why wait? Just move there.

Canada accepts everybody and anybody who wants to set up shop there. It's a sanctuary country
