I won't be watching the Oscars. Haven't seen any movies in a few years, don't feel like watching the President get bashed, not interested in what the "STARS" are wearing, and don't care who wins. They're all Losers in my book!
You can't find the "off" button on your remote? Pity. That must lead to watching a lot of terrible infomercials at 2am.
And in addition to the "off" button, all remotes I've ever encountered also have this handy little button labeled "mute".
So all of you Trumpites can admire the over-the-top fashions (oops, not the best description, since few of them go over anybody's top adequately) while silencing whatever is being said, if it so offends your delicate little ears and sensibilities.
Just gotta find and press that handy little button.
I'm a Democrat, but it's too damned long and boring for me. Maybe I'm too old. I can't stay away long enough to get past the "Best Gaffer on a Foreign Documentary" type of awards they seem to have in the early going.
I'll see who won tomorrow and see if anything that I haven't seen looks interesting enough to watch on streaming video.
