it still amazes me that during the obama administration the russians were our friends, but once trump won the election they became our enemies again.

Maybe we don't need a state department, just let the Armed Services Committee do their job.

No kidding, If Sessions only talked to them twice, he must not like them very much.

The misleading headline says he spoke "during" the campaign. He was not part of the campaign. He was doing his job.
Just part of what I suspect is a loosley organized social media disinformation campaign, like this thread:

//www.city-data.com/forum/polit...portation.html

I also suspect the MSM has a more coordinated effort, and I believe politicians have a more coordinated effort.

Because the hearings ask "did you talk to the Russians in your role in the election?" He did not, he spoke to the Russians in his role on the Armed Services Committee.

Did Sessions lie to Congress?

Or better yet "Fake News". For all of the Trumpophiles.
That is why they don't want a special prosecutor looking into this.

I remember how Obama and the Democrats with the media made fun of Mitt Romney in 2012 when he said Russia is our #1 enemy.

Now Russia is our sworn enemy under Trump, all because the allegation is that Russia gave the DNC and Podesta's emails to Wikileaks, which Wikeleaks denies, they said they got it from some other source........They hate Trump so much and want to delegitimize his upset win and his presidency they rather put tensions on the relations on a nuclear power country and beat the the drums to war.
