What you seem to be referring to is a guest on FOX who said she spoke with someone who she said worked for the Obama administration who said such a wiretap was ordered. The commentary is suspect, coming from a FOX contributor, and lacks detail.
Read statement again...does not deny wiretap. It's carefully worded to say that BO didn't order it directly.
