With millions of liberal politicians, media talk show hosts, and cizitens like me screaming for Trump's tax returns over the last year, if Trump truly has nothing to hide, why not simply release them?

Liberal news outlets would scour through Donald's tax returns with a fine-tooth comb and a magnifying glass, desparately searching for something that makes Trump look shady or unethical.

And if there is nothing there, not a single shred of evidence that makes Trump look bad in any way, it would be thee biggest "haha!" moment for Donald Trump since he got into politics. Liberals would be the laughing stock of the country as Trump and all his supporters point at liberals and laugh "See, you've been wasting your time all along! Nothing to see here! You all look so foolish!" The activity here in the political section would probably crash the City-Data servers LOL.

Trump has the ability to deliver an enormous zinger to liberals that would force all of us to eat crow. I would say to all conservatives on here "I was wrong, there is nothing incriminating about his tax returns. I did all that complaining for nothing"

So why won't Trump do it? I get it, Trump doesn't HAVE to release them. But if Trump's tax returns truly are squeaky clean and above board, why not deliver a the biggest dagger to liberals since they lost the election? Donald loves proving his critics wrong....why not release his tax returns, and make all liberals look like morons for making such a big deal about them?

Trump is playing the people who want to see it. Just like Obama played the crowd wanting to see the birth certificate. It's a distraction that has nothing to do with policy.

I think it is no one's business.

Did the IRS find anything illegal? No? Ok then. If they did find something illegal, that is for the IRS and judicial system to figure out.

I see no law requiring Trump to show everyone his tax returns, I doubt most of the US would even be able to understand them, and will rely on the media spin machine.

Was any other candidate asked to show a birth certificate? No. Did every candidate show their taxes? Yes. Did Trump promise a dozen times to show his? Yes. Did he lie? Of course!!

You're aware that it was Trump that brought up Obama's birth certificate, right?

Would you have said this in 2008 if Obama would have refused to release his tax returns? If you would have been okay with it, do you think most conservatives nationwide would have had an issue with Obama not releasing them?

Also, you are correct in that there is no law requiring Trump to release his tax returns. But he said he would several times before elected and now that he's in office he refuses. Again, if Obama had done this, said he'd do something and then not do it, you'd be okay with it?

Trump is currently the first president in 40 years to not release his tax returns. After saying he would release them several times. I guess he was just trolling America and its citizens? LOL

For the 1000th time, you will criticize Trump no matter what is in his tax returns.

Nonetheless, you and your fellow travelers are in the unfortunate and rather silly position of requesting privileged information, to which Trump's reply is "Why do you need to know?"

How embarrassing for you to have received that response. You never want to hear "Why do you need to know?"

You will find, as you grow in experience and wisdom, that when you ask a question and the response is, "Why do you need to know?", the person with the information clearly doesn't believe you have ANY need to know.

If radical liberals didn't have such a history of trying to totally destroy businesses that have connections with their political enemies, it would be a different story.

Yes, it is no one's business what Obama's and Hillary's tax returns are. I would have not cared if neither one released them.

What Trump said and did not do is a completely different subject than tax returns. Trump has said and not done a few things, but those do not pop up on here. If he said he will do something and does not do it, then speak to that, not some separate subject.

People just want to see the returns so they have more things to spin into an anti-Trump story. Given how the media spins everything, I do not blame Trump one bit for not releasing them.

Obama also ahs stated things he will do and did not, I do not get riled up over it.
