Most professors say something stupid every day of the year.
And in 2017 that's an understatement, as they've all lost their minds and are speaking on emotion.
Trump Tower was wiretapped.
And the Russians didn't do it.
Donald Trump's Obama wiretapping claims could get him impeached, says Harvard law professor!
I never believed that Trump would be impeached. But this article on Bloomberg gives another perspective. I am beginning to change my mind from "impossible" to "plausible".
"...when President Trump accuses Obama of an act that would have been impeachable and possibly criminal, that’s something much more serious than libel. If it isn’t true or provable, it’s misconduct by the highest official of the executive branch.
How is such misconduct by an official to be addressed? There’s a common-law tort of malicious prosecution, but that probably doesn’t apply when the government official has no intention to prosecute.
The answer is that the constitutional remedy for presidential misconduct is impeachment."
Trump seems completely clueless that he will be held accountable for his actions and for his proclamations. He does not seem to be able to comprehend that there are Constitutional limits to his power, and real consequences when he crosses those limits.

KellyAnne ,is that you and your "alternative facts" ....again?
Trump seems to be (on the edge of being) impeached at least once a week for the past year (even though he wasn't in a position to be impeached at all for most of that time). This has to be a world record. Call Guinness. And then go have a Guinness yourself .. it may help you calm your wild imagination and jumpy nerves, OP.
Here's the thing... to prove that the wiretap claim is false, someone will need to explain how this information was gleaned.
This official later added that Flynn’s initial call was to express condolences to Kislyak after the terrorist killing of the Russian ambassador to Ankara Dec. 19, and that Flynn made a second call Dec. 28 to express condolences for the shoot-down of a Russian plane carrying a choir to Syria. In that second call, Flynn also discussed plans for a Trump-Putin conversation sometime after the inauguration. In addition, a second Trump official said the Dec. 28 call included an invitation from Kislyak for a Trump administration official to visit Kazakhstan for a conference in late January.
Why is it hard to believe that our Intelligence Agencies have the Russian Embassy wire tapped and got the info that way??? Because it's make a better lie this way and Trump tries to lie his way out of collusion with Putin.
