It never, never rose to the level of hysteria that birtherism for President Obama did. You know it and I know it. Free Republic, probably the largest right wing forum out there, was all in for birtherism as applied to President Obama. They had many, many threads dedicated to it. But when Ted Cruz was a candidate last year, anyone who dissed him with any kind of birther talk was promptly and permanently banned from the site.
It's a false comparison, and you know it. The very fact that it is still going strong even after Obama is out of office proves it.
Actually, it did. Perhaps you didn't notice because you had your "call them racists"-colored glasses on.
Oh, please. I'd wager the majority of people never even heard of the controversy around Cruz's birth, because it simply was never that big a deal, all your pretense to the contrary aside. There were no lawsuits, no rallies, no websites devoted solely to that issue, because it was largely a non-issue. Birtherism, on the other hand, is still going strong with the racist anti-Obama birthers--because it is ALL about racism. They will never be able to get past the fact that a black man was president.
I've read your nonsense on this subject many times, and it remains nonsense. Which is why I usually ignore you.

Actually, it was. Why do you think Cruz didn't win the GOP Primary even though he was the closest competitor, and originally FAR more popular with the evangelicals?

It wasn't because of his birth in Canada? Even Harvard Law School Constitutional Scholars disagree with you on that.
