I would disagree, status anxiety is a staple of American life, getting a good job does not really extinguishes it, it is just a beginning. I do not think getting rich to pay for everything should be an objective, because to get rich they need to screw and control us in a multitude of ways. Free people do not allow obsene inequality. Making rich to pay is a poor consolation for being their de facto slaves.

Second, those couple of pauses were looped to make them seem worse than they actually were.

Trump, on the other hand, has NUMEROUS examples, which are not even in situations like a debate where one is expected to think quickly on his feet--and therefore, pausing is understandable. In the video, Trump is at a deposition and is unable to read a lease he signed. Before any deposition, all lawyers review the case and evidence with their clients, and prepare them for the types of questions to expect. So, one would expect Trump to at least have a clue about the leases he signed,... and be able to read them.

Trump's a total moron.

You can also do some reasearch to Obama's past writing too. Apparently when I last googled, he made plenty of mistakes, especially for someone who graduated from Harvard.

It's mostly about the preparation to become a polished speaker. If you stick to the speech prepared by professional writers and spend a lot of time in mock debates/question taking, you will come off as a good speaker.

Trump doesn't stick to scripted speeches for the most part, and it's been reported that he does very little debate prep.

When he addressed congress, he stuck to the prepared speech and presented well.

Many people are sick and tired of these scripted moments and want their leaders to be off the cuff.

BTW, probably one of the most well received and best off the cuff moments in recent history came from Bush at ground zero.

Why anyone still pays mind to that rag is beyond me.

SO, did it not happen? It was a debate and instead of watching the entire debate, it was edited to show how many times he said huh....

Does it make you mad? It appears so....

I totally agree. The uneducated like him because they understand what he is saying, with the lack of big words.
