Trump is 0 for 2 on his Muslim ban and it looks like Obama's AHA has more friends than enemies when compared to the GOP plan. The FBI is moving ahead with at least two Trump investigations and declared that he was full of crap on wiretapping. Trump's SCOTUS nominee is falling over himself trying to put distance between him and DT. Meanwhile the SOS is going on a picnic in Russia and intentionally skipping a NATO meeting. The congressional GOP is not fully supporting the budget. Trump's disapproval rating is approaching 60%. We are not even into April yet. If he stays the Democrats will be playing him like a banjo....the gift that keeps on giving.

President Pence will bring stability but will run afoul of the constitution on some of the religious right things he would want to do. He really has no campaign promises once Trump is kicked to the curb. The GOP would be more united behind Pence. If Trump stays much longer, Pence will appear to be a caretaker president like Ford. He will have to endure Twitter pot-shots from deposed King Trump (even after a pardon?) and opposition from the Dems. Not good either way but maybe safer without Trump.

Trump lies. He has shown himself to be a pathological liar. He is also delusional and paranoid.
I am no fan of Pence for sure but at least he seems stable and sane.
Which is a big step up from where we are now.

pence is a consummate politician. He never answers the question, sticks to the script, and moves all the action behind closed doors to further his ultra-conservative agenda. He works really hard to appear reasonable, and not so scary, but deep in his soul, he is a typical republican. He is so smooth that he is almost robotic.

Sooner or later, the Trump-devotees are going to wake up. Nothing that Trump is doing is going to help out the Rust Belt or the coal industry. Manufacturing isn't coming back. The Obamacare repeal will hurt Trump country the worst. Once the Trump-devotees realize they have been duped and Republicans start turning on him, things could get real interesting.
I'm not sure the folks that voted for him in the Rust Belt, Coal Country, or Flyover Country voted for him based on any of his promises other than "I won't be them," a promise I think we can all agree he has more than surpassed. He was their version of a protest where the residents are willing to destroy their own neighborhood to make a point. This country for the past decade or so has more or less told them that everyone matters but them. They want you all to know that they are no longer willing to be treated like they are invisible.

The country will survive Trump, I'm not sure about the DC establishment, though. But that's a good thing. Hillary, had she been elected, would have been the end of America and its citizens. And we survived Obama and he was vehemently opposed to the country.

Oh the DC establishment will bounce back stronger than ever -- how naive to think Trump could destroy it -- lol.

It's establishment politics right now with Trump threatening and I bet making backdoor promises to try and get this health care act put through.

It's the same -- same -- same....What do you think is different?

We lose -- we have a health care act that will not reduce those premiums for most of the self-employed Americans....it won't cut down the gouging by pharmaceutical and health care insurers.....

The only reason all of you think it is so wonderful is that you want anything that is not associated with Obama.....insurance rates won't go down but somehow - -even with a Trumpcare bill in place - it will be the fault of the Democrats......no -- it's the fault of the insurance companies & health care industries - including pharmaceuticals gouging Americans for years and years and years.....and everyone being complicit (lol - there's that word again).
