I think taxes will get done, especially corporate. There are deep philosophical differences on health care in the GOP. But one thing all Republicans can agree on is that the rich need tax relief.

Yes, that does seem to be the one common thread.
Freedom caucus is saying they will vote against Trump Care . We'll see what actually happens tomorrow.
The only bill being considered right now is Ryancare.
Then why is Trump pushing so hard for its passage, even to the point of warning Republicans who oppose it that they are likely to lose their seats in 2018?
It means that Trump is knee deep in the swamp. He's going around buying votes for his bill. And the idiot swamp monsters are trading favors. These bozos are playing with people's lives. They couldn't care less.
It's like baseball trading cards--Trump just wants his win and has no idea what is in the bill or that it is totally different than what he campaigned on.

It's pretty disgusting.
Yeah but Ryan did say Trump "knocked the cover off the ball" didn't he? Maybe there's a trading card being printed as we speak.
Hopefully it means they won't turn Medicare into vouchers, or cut Social Security, like many in the GOP legislative branch want to do.
Who knows it they will even agree on the massive spending for The Wall, especially since Trump promised that Mexico would pay for it.
Future legislative action by the GOP might be impacted if Trump attacks them via Twitter/in the press for not voting for TrumpCare(i.e 'my way or the highway'). If he attacks them too hard, they will dig in their heels and #resist.
So what happens? Do we spend the next 3+ years watching Trump and congress in knife/twitter fights with each other? And get absolutely nothing done?
