Will Hillary run again in 2020?

Let's see.....
  • Hillary lost the 2008 Primary that was designed for her to win against an unknown Senator with no important political connections.
  • Hillary cheated during the 2016 Primary and even then, couldn't bring it home against a 74 year old communist and porno author. Super Delegates had to hand her the nomination.
  • Hillary lost the 2016 general election against Trump which the entire political establishment, the MSM, all the pollsters and TV pundits said had no chance of winning.
  • Hillary cost her backers an estimated $3.5B with these campaigns with nothing to show for it.
Do you think the Democrats and their Donor would be crazy enough to invest in this woman again?

Sanders got hosed because the Dems in power behind the scenes and puppet mastering everything are paid off corporate shills. They didn't want Sanders in there.

You can come up with as many excuses as you can, the main reason Clinton lost was the American people got sick and tired of her.

But that doesn't work anymore - scream your heads off over everything now. Play the game the repubs played for years.

She lost cause they under estimated how NOT important having a leader who doesn't lie to them, sexually assault women, and run scams (trump U) was. Yeah we should be proud. Thank God tiny fingers lost the popular vote. AT least there are still some decent law abiding people in the US.
And how did Bush lie about the reasons they were hit?

It's like the liberals that say illegal alien crime is exaggerated. Because their family members haven't been killed by one .

Most of the people in my peer group make between 80-140K per year. Most have kids in college or have kids who will be going to college. 30-40% of us either don't work for a company that provides health insurance or we're self employed....either way we have to provide our own.

100% of us saw our premiums double, the coverage (& service) get worse & the deductible jumped up (to unacceptable levels). My family's premium went from $800 per month to over $1500 per month. (the first two years of OCare)

We went from an almost upper middle class family to a lower middle class family with the stroke of a pen. (& we knew damn well that we were paying for the healthcare of others). Those that work for a company that furnished healthcare didn't see this (or didn't see as much of an impact). Then we find out our kids don't qualify for college grants (that others got) because our "Income is too high".

The anger felt toward Obama & the Democrats from most everyone I knew was absolute. The silliness expressed by many (transgendered bathrooms and possible p*ssy grabbing 20 years ago) p*ssed us off even more (towards the whiners, the democratic candidates and the Media) when contrasting these silly news items with my health insurance bill of 18K per year (which was more than my P&I mortgage payments). Hilary and Dems were absolutely clueless.

If Pee Wee Herman or Felix the Cat had told me that they was going to (try) to kill Obamacare & provide a middle class tax cut, I would have voted for either one of them over Hil or Barak.

....& they blame it on the Russians.
Very solid post.

I've always said that just look at Trump and the way he conducts himself. He's a pig, he's arrogant and he brags and his personal style, however we wanna call it is just repulsive to me, but he was able to tap in the exact anger that you've laid out so well.

I mean just how completely weak was Hilary if the American people are so upset and actually voted for Trump. Granted Trump was/is saying things that a lot of people wanna hear and I think a lot of people held their nose and vote for him because of that, but again, I mean if he was able to beat Hilary she had to be a weak candidate and was clueless of what the American people are upset about.

Clearly.

The dems need to focus more on the mainstream middle America a bit more and got more toward the center politically if they wanna have a shot in 2020. If they double down on the same stupid liberal policies and if trump has enough success they are toast.

BINGO. But that requires a major shift to the right for today's radically left-wing Democrats.

Right, but most of us Dems are not radically left wing. We don't care about the silly stuff like being politically correct or letting illegals invade our country. The Dems forgot the mainstream Dems too.

you don't read much on this board.

Democrats lost because they ignored votes they thought they had. Trump went and talked to them and told them he would fix it.

If the Democrats had gone and talked to them -- acknowledged that there were problems -- maybe it would have been different.

There is no denying Trump won because he paid attention in Ohio and other states where industry has died and folks have been hurting for 15 years now. They lost jobs in 2001 and haven't recovered those. The Great Recession piled on to that.

There is no question that is why Clinton lost the election.

But -- it is why if Trump doesn't do something a little quicker to get jobs back....within this year.......they may be ready to go back to the Democrats. He has to produce those jobs.

I am on Medicare and even I didn't like it when she put it that way. I don't want anyone stealing my Medicare that I paid into all my life. But I THINK if she had explained it better and said that she meant she would fix the ACA, then it would have had a better effect.
Yea, I don't know about that.
