They invited Comey and Rogers to testify in a closed hearing, Yates, Clapper and Brennan will testify in an open hearing next month. It will be interesting to hear what Yates has to say if she can disclose her briefing to Trump regarding his administration being compromised.

Quote:
The House Intelligence Committee has invited former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to testify on Russia’s meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election in a public hearing next month.
On Friday, the panel said that it sent a letter inviting the former Obama administration officials on Thursday to an open hearing that would be scheduled after May 2. The committee also said it sent a letter Thursday to FBI Director James Comey and National Security Adviser Admiral Mike Rogers to testify at a closed hearing on May 2.

Seems Schiff has been able to get the House committee up and running again.

Fingers crossed.

Yes, it will be interesting to see if some of the testimony by Yates gets restricted as threatened by the White House.

The intelligence agencies indicated it was a little more than carelessness, it was a concerted effort to make sure Hillary lost. Besides the RNC was also hacked depending who you can believe, where were their emails.

Doesn't matter anyway because the house committee will hear the full briefing, problem is they don't want to interfere with the FBI investigation.

The head of the RNC confirmed that the RNC was not hacked. Unlike the DNC, the RNC was willing to let the FBI look at it's servers.

When will Susan Rice testify?

Wow, this could get really interesting. Remember, Trump and his staff did everything they could to prevent Yates from testifying. However, thanks to a system of checks and balances, the HIC can bypass the president and Yates now has the green light to talk about what she knows.

this makes sense considering that much of what happened was while Obama was in office. You would expect Obama staff to be called, if the investigation was to have any credibility.

She could be called to testify but what would you expect her that can't be answered by Comey, Kelly, Yates, Clapper or Brennan. If you want answers to the hacking then you have all the players you need or is this just a partisan witch hunt like Benghazi.

If you really want answers though Trump would be the perfect person to call in a closed session so we can get to the bottom of "Obama wiretapped me".

The RNC was hacked, you need to stop listening to Trump.

Washington (CNN)Top intelligence officials indicated on Tuesday that the GOP was also a Russian hacking target but that none of the information obtained was leaked.

FBI director James Comey told a Senate panel that there was "penetration on the Republican side of the aisle and old Republican National Committee domains" no longer in use. Republicans have previously denied their organizations were hacked.

and then there is House Homeland Security Chairman Mike McCaul who said that the RNC was hacked then recanted, easy mistake to make. LOL

Quote:
"It’s important to note, Wolf, that they have hacked not only hacked into the DNC but also into the RNC,” McCaul said in an appearance on CNN's "The Situation Report" with Wolf Blitzer. “So they are not discriminating one party against the others. The Russians have basically hacked into both parties at the national level and that gives us all concern about what their motivations are.”

Only Rice can answer why she requested the unmasking, and she needs to answer that question, under oath (not that a proven liar like Rice can be trusted, even under oath).

And, from your own source,

Comey said there was no sign "that the Trump campaign or the current RNC was successfully hacked."[/b][/i]

Like I said, the head of the RNC (not Trump) confirmed that the RNC was not hacked.

Rice doesn't unmask anyone on her lonesome, other people including those testifying would have been aware. The main focus of the committee is the Russian, they can certainly ask that question but probably in closed session.

Comey indicated "current RNC" so his statement still stands that RNC emails were hacked but not published.
