If the gvmnt does shut down it wont be Trumps fault of course it will be
Obamas fault
Hillarys fault
Democrats fault
Etc.
Rather vacuous excuses when Republicans have a majority

Some may have missed that fact that we are actually talking about a shutdown with the GOP controlling all branches of government, this has to be one of a kind.

I wish the GOP good luck in blaming the democrats for this one, that would have to be some very creative spin. I give them a bye on this one, they are so used to obstructing that they are now obstructing themselves. It's difficult to be for something rather than just criticizing Obama, give them time.

So... the "Trump April 26th" or was it "Trump will go 26th" hacked emergency broadcast last September on 1630 AM in New Jersey, what was that about? Tomorrow's the Operation Gotham test in NYC and Trump also has called all the US senators in for a meeting. Coincidence? They had a program about it on Radio Ground Zero last night and there are some Youtube videos on it. Should be interesting to see what, if anything, happens.

It's like a Marx Brothers movie.

Like a good little puppy in training, Trump has backed down from his wall funding demands.

Now a shutdown is much less likely.

As repubs have the majority in all aspects of government the libs have no say in the governments potential shut down,if it shuts down its all on trump and the repubs.

He will need to compromise with his own party to avoid a shutdown, nothing to do with the librals.
That is why he came to his senses and dropped the wall funding, this doesn't bode well for the future if he can't even find common ground with his own party.

Trump needs to trim the fat that has stemmed from many years of federal departments spending like no tomorrow.

We have agencies that don't need to be that big and all they do is kind of 'bribe' other countries with 'help money and food''

I'm thinking USAID that doesn't need to be paying millions in salary in order to manage world crisis stock of food.

Look at congress and its benefits, cut the career politicians. Get rid of lobbyists.
