We had a chance to have a woman a heartbeat away from the Presidency but the liberals killed that. I must admit I would have been praying for McCain's health daily and i don't care much for McCain and aint real religious.

The fact is Hillary was a highly flawed candidate but still got a majority of the votes, hardly a sexist nation.

She might have won, assuming 1) she hadn't been in massive need of a personality transplant since birth, and 2) her campaign could have kept her upright for more than 30 minutes at a stretch.

Ah, but for the want of these, a kingdom was lost. Heh, heh...heh, heh...

I think Hilary should not be in the news or given any air time whatsoever, shes a failed candidate that couldnt win a fixed election.

So what if Pakistan had a woman president? They hung her father, also president, in the town square. They have terrible mysoginistic laws and Bhutto did nothing about that. she was assassinated. Do we really want to emulate Pakistan? I like Bill Maher but often he is not as smart, or funny, as he thinks he is.

I do think sexism played a role with some people, but it was only one role. She also was a big-money candidate in a populist election, who ran a dysfunctional campaign, with a cloud over her thanks to the DNC. Plus it was implied since 2012 she was the "heir apparent", and Americans hate being told what to do (and who to vote for).
Maher claims to be a Bernie supporter, but all too often ignores the major differences between Bernie and the Clintons.

If we get a great female candidate we will have a woman president. This wasn't the situation this time around. It seems just because we had a first black president now we have to check off the woman box.
