Agree. Nothing can be done. Everything has been tried and it all failed. The only thing left is to seal Chicago off (not Michigan Ave.) and let them have at it. Helicopter in food and stuff. Then stand aside.

All that would do is sound the alarm that they're there and it's time for target practice.

I'm no fan of the CPD - they're corrupt just like the entire machine is - but they cannot win. They're criticized for being in the neighborhood and then when someone is shot they're criticized for not doing enough - for not being present and reducing crime. They're criticized for taping off the crime scene, and leaving without questioning anyone, but when they question people, they get squat.

Only putting black cops there isn't the answer either. They're treated the same way the white cops are.

You could probably find videos of the cops being taunted. It's unbelievable that these punk ass kids are out there goading cops like that.

And law-abiding citizens who live in those neighborhoods and can't afford to move out of them, are stuck in the middle.
