Only Ron Paul comes to mind although he's misguided on most issues.

if you can't troll any better than this, you'll never be an intellectual.

I think Cruz would qualify (not liking him doesn't mean he isn't a intellectual) Probably several more. Trying to make it partisan indicates you are posting based on opinion, not facts.

Adam Schiff has a political law degree from Stanford and a degree from Harvard. Bright guy and conducts himself with grace. I've been very impressed with him.

Bernie and Elizabeth are among the lowest in intelligence, as bad as Hank Johnson

Trey Gowdy kind of wins on the intelligence scale.

OMG that is hilarious. Let me explain it to you, OP. Just because someone says they are smart, doesn't mean that they are. It only means they are confident.

And furthermore, it assume you are someone less confident and more vulnerable.

Warren and Sanders are obviously very smart people. No one can deny that with a straight face.

People who think political beliefs indicate intelligence can. They're wrong, but they can claim LOTS of stuff. We've all seen it.

That being said, claiming there are none on the other side like the OP has, is also bad. Intelligence is not a measure of political beliefs, there are a LOT of factors.
