Again, you are hanging on that word as if your life depended on it. Get over it and move on. Its already been well established that mature, reasonably intelligent adults understand that NHS wouldn't be truly free.

We get it. Enough.
by free you mean your neighbor is held up and you get his money to pay for your health care...well minus what the robber keeps for himself.

This people are insane.

You guys should go ahead and go live in the woods like Thoreau and STOP using everything that everyone else pays with their taxes if you are so against this SLAVERY and obligations

We get it. You dont want your money to be used to ANYTHING you havent agreed on before, cause for you TAXES are EXACTLY LIKE putting a gun in your head and make you pay x amount of money. And you HATE THAT.

Thats how society works so you must feel like a damn slave every time you pay any tax. It must feel horrible for you. If you are so convinced you are being ROBBED and FORCED, why dont you pack your bags, go live in an unexplored wood, build your house with natures materials, and plant your own food just like THOREAU did????

AGAIN.....

Just because I was born into a society that, by proxy, has traditionally agreed to exchange certain services for a certain amount of taxation, does not obligate me to continue to agree to more and more taxation for more and more services.

That's not the way any contract works.

Participation MUST be voluntary or it isn't a contract.

If you dont agree with taxes and you feel so bad to pay for anything that isnt ONLY for you, go live in the woods far far away of any type of society. Thats the only way, dude.

If you want to live in society, there are certain things you have to agree on. LIKE paying taxes. If you are so against this concept, what are you doing living in a city, using internet and discussing in an online forum?

Go pack your bags!!

I prefer a society where people freely interact with each other and this means without a third party threatening violence to coerce them.
Why don't you move to N.Korea?

No mention of labour.
And your labor does not justifiably belong to me, or to society.

I have no right to compel you to provide your labor to me against your will.

That's why health care cannot by defintion be a "right"

No.

To claim this is a human right is to claim you can subdue others to see to such. That is, to believe the above is to believe in slavery.

You have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. You have the right to not have people interfere with your obtaining them. You do not have a right to demand another provide such for you as to do such, you must violate their liberty to achieve it.

So again, NO.

Fair enough.

But this begs the question...

Why do politicians spend so much time and effort on health INSURANCE instead of finding ways to bring down the cost of health CARE?

A good note to those who think in selfish terms:

The most suitable situation for Republican Congressman and Republican Minded Officials is, "A Firing Squad"... "for all of them"
This is an Atrocity !!!!!! Republicans are of such Evil, to want to cut &880 Billion from Medicare

Quote:
CBO's analysis highlighted an $880 billion cut to Medicaid, the federal-state health care program for the poor and disabled, which Price sought to cast as a way to give states more leeway to experiment with the program. The Obama-era law expanded Medicaid with extra payments to 31 states to cover more people. The House bill halts the expansion, in addition to cutting federal spending on the program.
Anytime you hear. "giving States more flexibility", you are listening to Confederates, still pushing their "states right madness".... Reject them.... This is "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN, AND IT HAS A FEDERAL GOVERNANCE SYSTEM, AND THAT SYSTEM MUST ALWAYS SUPERSEDE STATES, TRYING TO CLAIM RIGHTS, THAT DO NOT MEET AND MATCH WITH FEDERAL GUIDELINES, POLICIES AND RIGHTS.

(Now, maybe people can understand the way the Confederacy is STILL fighting the Civil War, and they are doing it INSIDE of Congress) They should be tried for subversive activities and Internal Treasonous Acts Against the United States Federal Government and its people.) Banish The Entire Republican System, only then can America can move ahead and prosper for All.

"But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. ... If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?" Matthew 5:44,46-47
