This issue is so much bigger than Hilary. And for you to focus on her, when she lost the election 6 months ago, is a true reflection of how short sighted and immature your thinking is with regards to this new information.

It's about Trump.

When Nixon pulled stunts like this, the country got rid of him, forced him out.
How far down has our country sunk that there are still Americans (?) who are fine with this sort of thing. We are losing our country.

I am in true awe of how delusional some of the Trump supporters are. I would be amazed if this were to end well for Trump. People are flipping out. And with the history of our nation, for good reason.
It's too late to put a lid on it. The truth and the evidence are going to come out. Nothing motivates a prosecutor more than a perp trying to dodge justice.
As if you need me to spell it out for you (it seems you do?): this is not a "progressive"-specific thing. People on all sides of the political spectrum do this.
For a specific example, look no further than the man in the White House. The word salads coming out of his mouth are often so full of nonsense that I have a hard time sometimes telling if he's actually seriously stating something or if it's just a gigantic joke a la The Onion. His track record with accuracy or truth is not great.
I agree the Russia story is largely overblown. But so were many other past controversies drummed up by both political parties.
I will just step aside.
