Firing is an abuse of power and Congress will act against the Twittering idiot in the WH.

ABUSE OF POWER Says former Bush official.

"Mr Painter thinks the concerns over the Trump presidency are not confined to just one side of politics.
"I think we're reaching a point where members of both political parties are getting fed up with the abuse of power by the Trump administration," he said.
"It's just scandal after scandal and people are getting quite fed up"

Geesh. Even the dimmest among us are not buying that silly cover story.

Trump is still leading "Lock her up," chants at his rallies. Now he suddenly decided to come to her defense?

Please.
No kidding.

Whatever this is about - and I am pretty mystified - it is NOT about Trump suddenly suffering from a chivalrous impulse on Clinton's behalf.

And the way it was done - well, why on earth would someone with half a brain now agree to accept a high-level appointment from Trump???

Some forums with more moderate Republicans who are Trump supporters? They're turning on him. Something I did not expect. The trump only partisan ones are banning not just outsiders, but even a lot of their supporters who question things.

The Internets gone wild tonight. And the propaganda has basically stopped. It looks mostly home driven now.

He must have information that they don't like.
No doubt.

👼 He's so obvious. If he was not worried, he would not have continually defended himself and ultimately, eliminate a person who would have incriminating information.

Now, they are behaving as if firing the investigator will delay the inevitable.

Alas, all it does is confirm his guilt.
Yep. I have figured he would ultimately hang himself, being exposed for the giant loser and fraud that he is.

Can't help but wonder whose boneheaded idea it was to claim Comey was fired for improper conduct that helped tip the election to Trump.

The Director of the FBI directly reports to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein - it's part of Rosenstein's JOB to make sure the Director of the FBI is credible and doing his job properly. James Comey had lost credibility and broke a lot of rules. Is is the almost unanimous opinion of former DOJ officials and A.G.'s (both Republican & Democrat Administrations) that he stepped way, way over the line. His testimony before a Congressional Committee that he did nothing wrong and would do it again, was the Nail in his personal coffin. He had to go.

Eric Holder, who served as Deputy Attorneys General under President Clinton and Attorneys General under President Obama, said that the Director's decision "was incorrect. It violated long-standing Justice Department policies and traditions. And it ran counter to guidance that I put in place four years ago laying out the proper way to conduct investigations during an election season." Holder concluded that the Director "broke with these fundamental principles" and "negatively affected public trust in both the Justice Department and the FBI".

Trump and Pence were warned repeatedly about Flynn.

Yet, without any vetting whatsoever they allowed him access to our nation's top secrets, including the daily national security briefings and who knows what else.

Comey investigates Flynn and gets fired by Trump.

2 + 2 = 4

He worked at the pleasure of the president.

The president was not pleased.
