Trump has been a rather large reason for the focus with his constant statements on the investigation, if he could just keep quiet it would be beneficial for everyone.
As they say-Timing is everything. If he had a ounce of sense he would stop using twitter. I suspect new presidents make a lot of mis-steps at first, and no one learns about them because most presidents focus on their job, not on acting like a child.
The time to fire Comey was day 1, not day 1 after he starts a investigation going solidly. The comments from the right show a distinct lack of comprehension of this, and tend to be deflections. And Comeys explanation of why he did what he did resonated with a lot of people after they got to hear it.
But..but..but that means Dems will have to invent a new excuse for Hillary losing the election, never mind the FACT that Clinton 'colluded' with Saudi Arabia, one of the worst human rights violators in the world.
Why would they need to invent something new? Truth, facts and reality haven't ever stopped them in the past. They've proven they're willing to repeat lies for YEARS, they certainly aren't going to quit using this one as long as Trump is in office.

Their citizens have also been responsible for thousands of deaths due to terrorism in the US yet they don't make the 'travel ban'. Nice work Donny.

You take something that Bernie said and bend it to mean he does not think there was anything going on, when all he was saying was that Trump MAY or MAY NOT have been involved, and if not, then let's move on. That was a very intelligent statement from a very intelligent, level headed man, not an endorsement that Trump is totally in the clear.
The investigation will determine that, and if it turns up nothing, we will move on, as Bernie suggested.
