It doesn't change the fact that Jared is a sleazy landlord, and a no-nothing who is somehow now charged with a major portfolio in the White House. No one voted for him.

I have pulled the doors, frame and all, including all the windows out of a rental house I had tenants that got behind in rent and didn't want to move. Who needs an eviction notice.... They moved out that night.
Kushner Companies pursue tenants relentlessly over even small amounts of money, even when the facts seem to be on the tenant's side. The tenants who usually lack lawyers end up in years long court battles. The funny thing is the amounts of money are often so small they do not even warrant the lawyer's fees Kushner's firm is paying, so he is doing this just to be cruel and too eek every last penny out of working class people so that he and Ivanka can add to their multi-million dollar fortune.
Kushner's company even pursued and harassed one woman who was on her deathbed and continued the court case with her relatives even after she died.
Kushner is a souless grifter just like his father-in-law.
No one, literally not one person, I know from NY has anything good to say about Trump. They all think he's a ridiculous joke. A dangerous, pompous, dim-witted, ridiculous joke. I'm talking people ages 25-80, from broke grad students to very very wealthy finance people; and everything in between, people in medicine, law, business, marketing, the arts, education...It has to sting when the overwhelming majority of people from your hometown and home state think you're an awful person.
Of course they think that. They're all hardcore liberals. Funny, the majority of people from my home state of NY think I'm a pretty awful person, because I'm a conservative. They also think that of Trump. Well, except for the cops, firemen and business owners I've talked to. I guess we just run in different circles. It's really no surprise that folks in law, the arts and education hate Trump.
Great article in the New York Times about Jared's business practices as a landlord of low and moderate rental housing all over the country.
He employs all the old routine slumlord tactics---ripping renters off by not maintaining properties, renters suffering in apartments with crumbling ceilings, mice, mold and then using cut-throat tactics for eviction and extremely aggressive collection actions, and unrelenting court cases against impoverished vulnerable renters who can't afford lawyers.
The article was about people that refused to pay money owed. These people lost judgments in court, meaning that a judge heard the case, and ruled that these people owed the money.
