What you submissive tRump followers won't admit to yourselves:

Those leaks are coming from career govt employees who were there long before Obama. And some those leaks are no doubt coming from people that tRump's team appointed.

It really bothers you guys that some in DC are patriots and not partisans, like those who blindly get in step.

Carry on.

There are probably some Americans who seek Federal employment for the job stability and benefits.

That said, there's no question that many Americans seek Federal employment because they want to serve their country. They seek Federal employment for the same reason that others join the military. They want to defend the country or contribute to the public good rather than enriching some corporation. Statistics bear this out. One-third of all Federal employees are former military. Nearly 40% of new Federal hires are former military. Roughly 70% of all Federal employees work for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, or Veterans Affairs.

Most Federal managers, and certainly those in more senior positions, joined the Federal Government under Reagan, Clinton, or Bush Sr/Jr. Most Federal employees hired during the Obama Administration (by these Reagan/Clinton/Bush era managers) are in low level staff positions and are not privy to high-level discussions with senior Administration officials, i.e. Trump political appointees.

I find it appalling that so many people voted to have the leakers fired. These leakers are true Patriots and what prevents us from becoming a fascist society.

If you don't appreciate living in a non-fascist society then go move to NK or Russia or China where propaganda abounds and dissendents get locked up or killed. As a former resident of a communistic country, I appreciate America and the civil liberty it provides. Try to appreciate the same before we too descend into the chaos experienced in Brazil and Venezuela now.

^^^^This is absolute BS. All of the surveillance started with the Patriot Act in 2001, under GWB.

And any THINKING person at the time knew it could be/would be turned against the citizens of the U.S. at some point for political gain.
Looks like what was feared could happen actually happened...

Without a 'leak', nobody would have discovered Watergate, or clinton and lewinsky, or a lot of other things over the years. A leak provided wikileaks with information that made clinton look bad, and may have helped trump win. Why, now, is it suddenly popular for trumpissts to despise leaks? Does it have anything to do with how bad it looks for trump?

Trump is under fire from both the Republicans and Democrats, the right and the left, and the neocons and the neoliberals. His policies no longer bear any resemblance to what he campaigned under. He's basically just putting forth Republican plans that people have known about for a long time.

This leaker has ties to prominent hawks Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham and John McCain.

Some have alleged the leaks are coming from McMaster camp as he was the only other high-level official at the White House meeting besides Trump and the Russians.
