Trump has had many leaks in his administration and it is believed that the solid majority of them are coming from Obama appointees filling many positions in government.
Considering that many Democrats (including on this board) are using terms like Trump leaked Manchester information, and claiming that Trump is responsible for the actions of all 23,800,000 government employees, and that the buck stops with him...
...shouldn't Trump start to take charge to fix this issue of constant leaks.
These constant leaks are now effecting our international relationships, as seen with the UK not sharing info after someone leaked info to the NY Times.
Would you support Trump removing a vast amount of Obama appointees from intelligence positions to stop the leaks?
Surprisingly, a lot of Democrats on this board are making arguments that seem to support Trump making such a move - as they demand that he take responsibility now and fix it now.
Trump is a dim Witt why can't this man walk and chew gum at the same time? Enough excuses already. Do your job. Quit fraternizing with the Russians it makes it worse for you.
All Obama appointees in every department should be fired, without exception.
Agreed. If you had to bet on where the leaks were coming from, Obama's people would be a good start. I'd also bet they're collecting more than just a paycheck from the government.
The White House needs some spring cleaning, of all the staff which pre-dates Trump. The Press must be moved out, maybe to Baltimore, giving politicians in D.C. a safe space.
No one knows who is doing the leaking and it's pretty unfair to fire someone for something they may or may not have done. For all we know it could be a Trump person with a grudge for a slight or because he/she is alarmed by what is going on in the administration or a foreign agency has bugs and hacks in key places. People calling to remove the press from the White House should read the constitution and thank their lucky stars we still have freedom of the press, without it we lose one of the most important thing that separates use from dictatorships. Think North Korea. Trump is such a drama queen and has a pattern of planting stories in the press that I wouldn't even put it past him to be the Leaker-in-Chief.

As any good dictator knows, it's best to eliminate those who put loyalty to their country above loyalty to you.
The leaks coming out of Washington are painting a picture that implicates Trump, his administration and his inner circle. The allegations would mean they engaged in illegal acts, some bordering on treason. Why would any patriotic American encourage Trump to seek out and destroy those providing this information?
However, I'll note that him taking such a long time to put his people in place is the fault of his own and his lack of political know-how.
All new presidents basically put their own people in place as soon as possible. I think Trump lacked in getting this completed. However, based on the fact that there is an on-going investigation into members of his campaign and former staff members, it would be idiotic of him to start firing more people in the intelligence community. It makes him look guilty and if he was going to do it, he should have done it in January/early February.
He knew about the investigation before he was inaugurated. He could have easily identified and vetted replacements for key positions. Instead he went around to rally's and made a big fuss about crowds and tried to ban Muslims from certain countries. He should have been focusing on getting people in place.
