At a point before birth, they are undelivered babies. That is an absolute fact backed by science.
They deserve protections as they reach development milestones.

Plenty of proof just google it. Me and my wife used WIC and still use WIC so no not against any programs that help. I am also NOT a christian of any stripe. In fact I am in full support of paid maternity leave as well. When it comes to most social programs I am in the mold of most Western European countries.
Yeah, but you need a prescription for that 30-day supply of birth control pills. Planned Parenthood helps women get those prescriptions. And Planned Parenthood helps women get the other medical services that women require. Planned Parenthood tests both women and men for STD's, and other health problems. They refer women to other doctors to get reduced-cost services. They are a life-saver for many women.
Any doctor can help get a prescription for the pill. And you can get them without a prescription right here:
According to the article in the OP, surrounding clinics are skeptical about being able to absorb the 15,000 patients previously seen at PP. Until it can be shown that these other clinics can handle the extra patients within a reasonable distance and appointment scheduling times... this is not "fantastic" by a long shot.

No this did not work out in Texas and I don't see this ending well, closing health care clinics for those living on the edge accomplishes nothing and makes their lives more difficult. They don't seem to care.

Actually all kinds of clinics are closing all over the Midwest, with no jobs, no insurance and no clinics, the Midwest is going to empty out, not good news for the GOP.
The Iowa closures are a direct result of a new state law that blocks Medicaid patients from getting their health care at Planned Parenthood or other providers that offer abortions ― all of which is very similar to what has been called for under the Obamacare repeal
It would take very little to get the funding back. P.P. claims to not be in the abortion business anyway. Just make it official.
They like the fact that PP performs abortions so they cut funding for their family planning, please explain the logic.
This is not far off the AHCA discussion, these people don't give a rats rear end about health care. Someone needs to explain what this accomplishes because it sure doesn't prevent abortions and more than likely creates more unwanted pregnancies.
