liberal media is trying to comfort it's readership - NYT did a hit piece afterward with two legal "minds" saying that it wasn't good for trump. if you live and breath those news sources you are going to naturally see it their way. dems need to open their minds to other sources - not just what they want to hear. that's what most Trump supporters do - listen to all sides and come to their own conclusions.

No kidding. And as much as people call Trump a moron (and sometimes when he opens his mouth, I want to too), he's got a lot of experience in negotiating and dealing with people. He's NOT stupid, and he knows better than to go to the director of the FBI and say "Ok, If you drop this case, I'll promise your job security." That's quid pro quo. So he tested the waters to the furthest extent possible without condemning himself (maybe just a hair over the line), and didn't push when he was rebuffed. It's shrewd. It's how he's gotten where he is. He's very good at slightly crossing the line, but not jumping off the cliff.

I believe Trump is guilty of obstruction of justice and I believe he has no clue what he did and how he did it. But that's not overly comforting for the President of the USA
That's the case they're going to build. And to be honest, they're going to need more than what they have (or at least, what we know they have). But Comey's testimony helped. But how it turns out remains to be seen.

Comey did not incriminate himself he confirmed Trump was a liar and guilty. He had to protect that proof and it was not a confidential document.

Or do you think the Head of the FBI has to tell the people he is investigating that he is investigating them or that he even has to be honest if asked?
its actual factual US Code.

as head of the FBI, if he even thought that the president had tried to obstruct justice, he is obligated by US CODE to report that.

He did not.

so either Comey is guilty of a felony or Trump didn't obstruct justice when he asked about the Flynn investigation.

period. end of discussion.

No, Comey SAID trump was a liar. confirmation requires evidence. there was no evidence submitted in this hearing. the only confirmation being done in your post is "confirmation bias". LOL

He clearly stated that Trump did not pressure him in the Flynn matter. He clearly indicated that in no other matter did Trump do anything approaching illegal behavior. period.

Why don't they investigate and deport the 1,000 jihadist who are on the surveillance.
Why don't the senators investigate obama on where the money came from to Iran.
1000 were and maybe still are under surveilience. It's my understanding most are born in the US.

Obviously the surveilience has not resulted in anything worthy of charging them. Not possible to deport US citizens.

The money returned to Iran was Iran's money that has been held for almost 40 years. No mystery. It was slotted to be return with or without the consent of the US, by a tribunal that governs international stuff.

Clinton is an idiot and paid for it by losing the election. Trump chose not to pursue it.

Waste of time only for the lefties who were hoping to get something that they could proceed with impeachment process.

Guess they're all very disappointed today.
