But he just went on record today and admitted Trump was never under investigation, and the investigation in to Russian meddling is still active. His excuse doesn't add up.
Trump may not have been under investigation when they met, but you can rest assured a case was opened as soon as Comey got back to the office after Donnie tried to deep six the Flynn iinvestigation.
My Only Comment is Let TRUMP go Under Oath and give his testimony.. and NOT put out his high paid legal Council to allege what Trump's interpretation is!!
Until I hear Trump under OATH.. His historical Lies will paint him simply as " Liar -in- CHIEF! He averages between 4-5 lies a day since sworn into office.. Let that Spewing in Chief speak for himself!!
So, as of now... I believe Comey way beyond anything his Trolls, surrogates love to spin moment by moment and that includes his own personal lawyer!! NOT even the WHITEHORSE lawyer said a word!!
Let Trump Testify under OATH.. then will wait for the fallout. Bet, Trump will claim "Forgetfulness/Sometimer's Disease" and being overworked etc etc!! As he has already confessed.. It's a lot harder than he thought .. LMBO

I am glad that PuTrumpTin was STUPID enough to pick a fight with the intelligence community and with people who are practiced in thinking 10-15 steps ahead while PuTrumpTin can barely remember his lies from 1 hour ago.
The intelligence alphabet soup (CIA-FBI-NSA) will ALL make certain that ALL of PuTrumpTin's filth is shown the light of day.
Trump had a good day in that there was no true damming evidence given. The evidence given was the same as we knew going in. That said, the investigation is on going and if the patsies turn on Trump or Trump and the alleged Comey tapes are subpoenaed, we could very well see an impeachment. That or the special investigator suggests charges of obstruction of justice which IMHO based on Trump and his own words in public (to NBC's Lester Holt) and private (to Russians) are consistent, he fired Comey to end this "Russah thing."
I'm really confused about why people are reacting to Comey's testimony as if it exonerates Trump.
Who thought Trump - one the dumbest people alive - was actually smart enough to dream up this whole colluding with Russia thing?
The questions were, and remain, who did what, when did Trump know about it, and what did Trump do about it? We know a bit of the who, essentially nothing of the when, and quite a lot of the what (he attempted to derail the investigation).
We didn't really learn anything new today. Trump is still a liar who had inappropriate conversations with the FBI director, attempted to stop an investigation by first pressuring Comey, and when that failed, he fired Comey in an attempt to make the Russia issue go away.
Do you really, honestly think that Trump is "one of the dumbest people alive?" Seriously?
I love how Kamala Harris made him the focus of her inquiry; he's been flying under the radar pretty well up to this point.
