This will likely also be added to Mueller's investigation as witness tampering.
If Trump had recorded Comey, then Mueller could ask for ALL white House recording, and that is not something he wants, even if he did nothing wrong legally, there could be some politically damaging things.
And why the blazes was there all the suspense? Five months in and Trump still doesn't get he's president and needs to grow up.
